I recently bought a car from a guy down in Kingston, his name is Phil Cable. We started talking about cycling and I had no idea who he was or what his cycling past was like. I always wanted to become a stronger rider, both mtn and road, so I asked him about training. He's starting up a customized training program and asked if I would pass it along to anyone interested. So, here it is:
Hello Everyone,
I am Phil Cable. I am a former Professional Rider from Team Navigators Insurance, a Pa. State Criterium Champion and Pa. BAR Point Series Champion. I've won lots and lots and lots of races. (Sorry, you will not hear me boast about my own accolades ever again.) Anyway, I was recently approached by a few cyclists asking me for coaching/training and so I decided to offer my coaching service to everyone interested, weather you are a recreational rider, triathlete or racer. Let's set some goals and I know I can make this your best season yet!
I have been in this sport for over 25 years. I do not consider myself a natural athlete. Everything I do well I learned, which makes me a great teacher. My prior coaching experience is a bit limited and was rather informal. I have only give undevided attention to 2 cyclists. Both became State BAR Point Series Champions. I can't promise you a Blue and Gold Championship Jersey but if you allow me to coach you I will open your eyes to your body’s potential and help you develope techniques and skills that will in turn give you confidence on your bike like you never imagined. Once you have that, riding just gets so much better!
I am working out the details right now. If you might be interested please send an email to melnphil@epix.net Include Phone numbers and a little bit about yourself and where you are at with cycling. I will get in touch with you right away.
Thank you,
Phil Cable _________________ Rock on. |
